“To calculate the long-term deflection and resistance against buckling for plastic pipes, TEPPFA has developed two online tools:

One tool for pipes up to 1000mm nominal diameter and one for structures wall pipes with diameters between Ø1000mm and Ø3000mm. The structures wall pipes shall comply with the European standard EN 13476: “Plastics piping systems for non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage – Structured-wall piping systems.”

The main driver behind the development of both calculation method, as in the case of the calculation method for small diameter plastic pipes, was the Swedish expert Jan Molin. This online tool is particularly handy as it makes the calculations fast and convenient.
