The VinylPlus Sustainability Forum 2020 Goes Virtual

Due to the ongoing pandemic crisis and our concerns about health and safety, VinylPlus® has made the decision to host the VinylPlus Sustainability Forum 2020 ONLINE as a single day event on 15 October 2020.

#VSF2020 will feature quality speakers, speeches, interactive debates and live polling sessions that you will now be able to attend from anywhere in the world.

While we are saddened not to be able to meet you in person, we are excited to see you all virtually and look forward to another successful VinylPlus Sustainability Forum.

Online registration for #VSF2020 Goes Virtual will open soon.

The VinylPlus Sustainability Forum 2020 will focus on the theme #CIRCULARVINYL.

Over the last 20 years, we have witnessed the profound impact that global awareness of sustainability has had on business. As an industry we have understood, together, how to turn sustainability into a competitive advantage by taking an active lead on environmental issues, embracing innovation, adopting new technologies and forging partnerships. It has been an incredible journey and one VinylPlus is proud to continue with all our partners and stakeholders in the years to come.

With the culmination of the voluntary commitment to sustainable development in sight, the PVC industry is on track to successfully meet VinylPlus’ ambitious targets by the end of the year. This is not to say the hard work is behind us. The dynamic policy landscape – covering the European Green Deal, Circular Economy, sustainable development, climate change, the loss of bio-diversity, and much more – makes our work even more relevant.

Looking to 2030 and beyond, we face challenges such as sustainable material sourcing and production, and energy mix evolution, to name just a few. How can we face these challenges and find opportunities therein to strengthen our position as a sustainability frontrunner while simultaneously delivering innovative solutions and building valuable partnerships for the entire PVC industry? At the 2020 VinylPlus Sustainability Forum, we will aim to answer these questions, showcasing the PVC value chain’s responsibility and credibility to define targets and milestones for the next ten years while keeping #CIRCULARVINYL at the heart of all we do.

Main topics will be:

  • Embracing the European Green Deal with #CIRCULARVINYL
  • Turning PVC sustainability progress into business opportunity
  • Driving the PVC industry towards 2030 and beyond
  • Redesigning tomorrow’s urban environment
  • Building green with certified products
