Discover the wide range of product standards for plastic pipe systems developed by CEN/TC155 and how the European Drinking Water Directive imposes strict requirements on the products used to distribute to protect human health. In addition, discover a short glossary about primary and secondary raw material terminology, based on EN 14541, which was developed by TEPPFA to provide plastic pipes and fittings experts with a document listing commonly used terms in the industry and to decrease the market’s confusion between biobased and biodegradable.
